On monday Mar 5th 2012 Buffalo Air had one of there Electras landed at Yellowknife with one main landing gear stuck in the up position.Looks like quite a bit of damage to the right side both engines and wing.Everyone walked away unharmed.

Does anyone have the msn? I know from the show that they were in South America looking @ an ex-REEVE ALEUTIAN airframe, and the clever guys @ REEVES spliced two damaged airframes together several years ago and ya NEVER know. I might be able to look it up and track its life from Burpbank to the accident

The life of CF-BAQ msn 1039 F/F 2/13/59 D/D 2/27/59 to ANSETT of AUSTRALIA as VH-RMA TPI INT. as N 356Q AIRBRIDGE INT as N 356Q WORLD AIRLINES as N 356WS HUNTING CARGO as N 356CE RENOWN AIR as N 356Q AMERER AIR (leased to TNT CARGO) as OE-ILB BUFFALO as CF-BAQ as of 7/03/07
Saw pictures of the post incident the damage actually isn't that bad, a couple props (hollow AEROPRODUCTS speed props) some removable leading edge pieces, an engine mount or two (#3 took some damage too) and odds and ends tinwork, it's actually a very tough old chicken and given BUFFALOS reputation, it may take a while, but it'll fly again.
