Actually it all true...and ten of the Spitties will be converted as Seafires for use on the new Super Carrier for the Navy wot we've just started to build after scrapping a perfectly servicable one !!

Buried spitfires. now reporting possibly 124? Looks like a battle for "richest" will erupt. Hope this doesn't make the warbird community look like buffoons. With that many spitfires(even just 24 in the original report) I would think there is enough for anyone interested. Who says they are in good condition anyway?

124??!!  Lets make it a nice round number, say 300. There are 300 mint condition Spitfires buried in Burma. I'd be happy to point them out to anyone willing to pay my asking price...
