Yesterday morning the long time office Manager and everything else there was to do person, passed away from complications of surgery. Raubie Hopkins, (wife of former Chief Mechanic Ed Hopkins) died of complications of surgery.
If you had ever visited the HAG Museum and went into the office area, you had met Raubie. She was always there with a smile on her face and ready to answer any questions, give tours (even though she walked with a cane) and do just about anything that had to be done. She was a grand lady and will be greatly missed by all.

She would let me help out at the office and even let me give visitors tours of the museum. It was a blast. Thanks Raubie. RIP.
