Here's something I first posted elsewhere a long while back... I don't often like to rehash stuff, but in this case I make a once-a-year-re-post exception.
Here's to a safe and happy, and hopefully thoughtful, long weekend for all here in the USA.
And remember, it's not just a three-day weekend.

For those here in the USA...
While you're enjoying whatever festivities you may have planned for this long weekend...
While you're savoring your dogs and burgers or other delicacies...
While you take in the 500 on Sunday...
While you enjoy the company of family and friends...
Please remember what this coming holiday is all about, and take a moment to consciously consider why we are all able to enjoy the aforementioned pleasures...
