Yeah, and that spawned another famous quote: "We gotta get a bigger boat" "Bruce" did not work well, which is why you hardly see him and I think the tension was intensified without him. This was one of the few movies I was so torqued I considered walking out of. Those barrels.... Luke and Yoda is correct The Return of the Jedi "You better run for cover or you're going to spring a leak" is Mr. Hartunian from The Jerk. Today's has got two characters speaking: "Jacobs, what have you got on Elaine Dickerson?' "Well I'm two inches taller, a better dancer, and much more fun to be with." That is all, Major Tom

Correct Stephan, it was Sergeant Hartman who uttered those words. As far as I'm concerned after boot camp, the movie kinda drifted. Anyway, instead of a quote today, I have a question: What is your favorite "Vietnam" movie, and why? Mine is "Hamburger Hill" because it seemed more realistic than "Platoon" to me, and I'm still burning about the fact that they abandoned the hill shortly after, I have read many books (and comic books) about "The Nam" and I think I have a "sense" of what it was like, although I have not seen "The Boys From Company C" yet. That is all, Major Tom

Put an answer up even though someone already may have gotten it. I'd love to hear from you. That is all, Major Tom Today's: 'This conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye."

Absolutely correct Inspector. "Blazing Saddles" eh? Gotta dig that one out and watch it again. The campfire scene....... I don't know how many people get your signature, but I do. "Dr. Strangelove Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb" The late Slim Pickins played the character and took a hell of a ride. A take off on "Fail Safe" I believe. Today's : "That's a nice little nothing you're almost wearing." That is all, Major Tom

More trivia-the scene where Lilli seduces Sheriff Bart in her room, after the line 'OH!.IT'S TWOO, IT'S TWOO' the next line was pulled by Mel where Bart was to respond 'Ma'am, why are you sucking on my arm?'
