Inspector, the second two sound like "Blazing Saddles" but I have no idea where the first one is from. Since no one tried: "That's a nice little nothing you're almost wearing." is James Bond from "Diamonds Are Forever" Folks, I try to keep my quotes from the more popular movies or characters. Let's delve into our memories and give it a shot, OK? Today's: " If I had known I was going to meet the president I would have worn a tie. Look at me, I look like a schlemiel." That is all, Major Tom

Actually, Inspector, the quote "This is supposed to be a happy occasion. Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who." is the King of Swamp Castle from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." Surprised you didn't get that one. Today's: "Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity." That is all, Major Tom

Folks, don't think I am an expert on movie trivia. I have a book and memories. I haven't been to a movie in years, DVD is how I see them these days, not even BLU-RAY. Remember Folks, Characters. Today's is again easy. Two characters speaking, tough on the characters, easy on the movie: " Can I ask you a question? What is it? It's a interrogative sentence, used to test knowledge. But that's not important right now." That is all, Major Tom

Today's: "Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity." That is all, Major Tom So who is this?

Not quite Inspector, it was two boys from "Airplane II: The Sequel" I know that type of humor caught on and was in both movies and TV, but this is Movie Quotes. I won't throw in a ringer. Stephan, rang a bell but couldn't quite catch it? Well, "Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity." is General George Patton from "Patton". Good movie. Great performance by ol' George C. Scott, wasn't it? Today's: "You have the whitest white part-of-the-eyes I've ever seen. Do you floss?" That is all, Major Tom

Well, let's try this one: This one goes way back: "One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I don't know." That is all, Major Tom

That sounds either one of the Bob Hope/Bing Crosby movies or Groucho Marx?

actually by the tell-tale ending of the line.., 'how he got in my pajamas, I'll never know'. That HAS to be Groucho!

Correct Inspector. It was Captain Jeffrey Spaulding from "Animal Crackers' played by Groucho Marx. I thought this might be tricky 'cause of its age. George Fennaman (sp) applauds you all. Today's is tricky (another old one): Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges." (Hint: NOT "Blazing Saddles") That is all, Major Tom
