Any idea what aircraft wreck this is? Looks like the nose of the Blohm and Voss 238?

Any context for the photo? Looks like a tropical environment.

I was thinking maybe a B-25 with a bashed-in nose, but the area between the windshield and nose appears too long. It could be nearly anything, even a civie type.

Could be an Emily? Hard to tell from that angle.

I was thinking maybe a B-25 with a bashed-in nose, but the area between the windshield and nose appears too long. It could be nearly anything, even a civie type. SN "H" Model? Just to clarify, that photo is a J-model gunship. Specifically the Canadian Warplane Heritage's "Hot Gen." Great detective work Stephen, thanks for solving our little mystery. The wreck is definitely an H-model. You can see the distinctive nose shape in one of the pics, and the fact that it has a turret mount behind the cockpit and the later style tail gunner's canopy rules out a G. Of course, it could also be a Navy or Marine PBJ-1H. Judging by the fact that the gear is down and there's no real evidence of crash damage, as well as several truck chassis around the wreck, I'm inclined to think it was dumped rather than crashed. The thing that made think it might not be a Mitchell was that it appeared the bulkhead where the nose attaches to the fuselage was too far forward. Looking at the other pics, it appears marine growth and lens distortion threw me off. SN
