The Pearl Harbor Special Focus board was actually a part of the old website, once shared with j-aircraft.com. During the release of the movie "Pearl Harbor" in 2001 the site saw a great burst of discussions about the movie and the real thing. It is my goal to somehow incorporate some of the old website into the new site and forum and this board is a part of that effort. Us-aircraft.com has always had a big niche about the history of Pearl Harbor and that has been a bit lacking the last few years. Pearl Harbor Special Focus Board is for research and discussions on subjects pertaining to Pearl Harbor and any movies, books, models, documentaries that pertains to the subject of the "Day that will live in infamy".

Have fun and most of all.........REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR.

When "Pearl Harbor" came out, I was equally disappointed in it as I was when "Pearl!" Came out in the 1980's. Both of those movies focused on the story line, and not on the attack. In PH, I was especially saddened with a large portion of the CGI that was used as it made the attack scenes seem unbelievable to say the least. I realize that the directors and producers have to work within a budget and all, but come on people...can you at least TRY to make the attack scenes look believe able?

Jim Broshot: Since nobody has responded in the last month and a half. The only Naval Museums I have ever been to are in Oregon: Tillamook Air Museum (housed in an old blimp hanger, used to be a Naval Air Museum but seems to have gotten away from that specialty. http:/ Oct 7, 2017 22:38:53 GMT -5
