Leonard Nimoy, dear to the hearts of all "Trekkies" passed away Friday, February 27 at age 83 of end stage Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary
Disease. He will forever be remembered as the half Vulcan, half human Science Officer for the starship Enterprise in the 1966-1969 TV series
and the various feature length movies that followed.

"Live long and prosper", which he most certainly did.

The B-52 and me, we have grown old, gray and overweight together.

I was deeply sadden when I heard that he died a while back and I always enjoyed Star Trek and it's motion pictures that came on several decades later.

He was a great actor and I consider him a icon in the world of science fiction!
